By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Universal TV Remote Control (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Your use of the App is also subject to our Privacy Policy and any applicable terms, rules, or policies of the platform or app store through which the App is distributed.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the App is lawful in your jurisdiction and that you have authority to control the target device or network environment.
Subject to these Terms of Use, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to download, install, and use the App for personal, lawful, and non-commercial purposes on devices that you own or control, strictly in accordance with these Terms and the rules of the relevant app store or platform.
No ownership rights in the App are transferred to you. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
The exact availability of features depends on your device, operating system, permissions, network environment, TV model, firmware version, region, third-party SDK behavior, and other technical factors outside our control.

Ads may be personalized or non-personalized depending on platform, region, law, consent flow, and SDK behavior.
The App may offer paid features, premium access, subscriptions, and one-time in-app purchases ("Paid Features"). Availability, pricing, billing periods, trial offers, and feature scope may vary by platform, region, device, app version, and promotional campaign.
Paid Features are processed by the applicable app store or billing platform, including Apple App Store and Google Play, and are subject to the terms, billing rules, and technical processes of those platforms in addition to these Terms of Use.
If you purchase an automatically renewing subscription, the subscription will renew automatically at the end of the applicable billing period unless you cancel it through your Apple or Google account settings before renewal. If you cancel, you will generally retain access to the subscription benefits until the end of the then-current billing period, unless otherwise required by applicable law or platform rules.
We may offer free trials, introductory pricing, promotional pricing, or limited-time access from time to time. Unless otherwise stated at the time of offer and unless you cancel in accordance with the applicable platform rules, a free trial or promotional offer may convert into a paid subscription at the end of the promotional period.
We may change, add, limit, or discontinue Paid Features, subscription plans, pricing structures, or included functionality at any time to the extent permitted by applicable law and platform rules.
All payments for Paid Features are charged by the relevant app store or payment platform, not directly by us, unless expressly stated otherwise at the point of purchase.
You are responsible for reviewing the purchase terms presented to you before confirming any purchase, including price, billing frequency, trial terms, taxes, and renewal conditions.
Subscription management, cancellation, billing issue handling, and most refund requests must be made through the platform from which the purchase was made, such as Apple App Store or Google Play. Google states that when a user cancels a subscription, access usually continues for the time already paid, and past subscriptions generally are not refunded except as provided by Google Play's refund policies. Apple provides subscription cancellation and refund-request flows through the user's Apple account and support systems.
Except where required by applicable law, purchases are final, and we do not independently guarantee refunds, partial refunds, credits, or compensation for unused time, unused features, accidental purchases, compatibility issues, network conditions, platform restrictions, device limitations, or removal of features. Any refund rights you may have are governed primarily by the policies of the platform through which the purchase was made and by mandatory law in your jurisdiction.
In-app purchases and subscription benefits are licensed, not sold, and have no cash value except where required by law. You may not transfer, resell, exchange, or redeem Paid Features outside the functionality expressly provided in the App or by the relevant platform.
The App is provided as a general-purpose utility and is not guaranteed to be compatible with every TV brand, model, firmware version, operating system, remote-control protocol, network configuration, router, VPN setup, local discovery implementation, infrared transmitter, mobile device, or region.
We do not warrant that the App will always be available, uninterrupted, timely, secure, error-free, accurate, or free from incompatibilities with third-party devices or services.
Support may be offered at our discretion through the contact details provided in the App, on the website, or in store listings. We do not guarantee response times, issue resolution, continued support availability, or support for all devices or configurations.
If you choose to contact support through the App, you are responsible for reviewing and approving the content of the prepared support email before it is sent.
The App, its design, software, code, text, graphics, compilation, branding, trademarks, logos, and related materials are protected by applicable intellectual property and other laws. Except for the limited license expressly granted above, no rights are granted to you by implication, estoppel, or otherwise.
All third-party trademarks, product names, platform names, and brand references remain the property of their respective owners and are used solely for identification, compatibility reference, or descriptive purposes.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITH ALL FAULTS AND WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE.
WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, QUIET ENJOYMENT, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, AVAILABILITY, SECURITY, AND COMPATIBILITY.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, REVENUE, PROFITS, GOODWILL, BUSINESS, DEVICE FUNCTIONALITY, NETWORK ACCESS, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE APP OR THESE TERMS OF USE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE APP OR THESE TERMS OF USE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF: (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID, IF ANY, FOR THE APP IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM; OR (B) TEN U.S. DOLLARS (USD 10).

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the developer, publisher, and related parties from and against claims, liabilities, losses, damages, costs, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or related to your misuse of the App, your violation of these Terms, your violation of law, or your unauthorized control of any device or network.
We may suspend, restrict, discontinue, or terminate access to the App or any part of it at any time, with or without notice, if reasonably necessary for maintenance, security, legal compliance, technical reasons, business reasons, or if we believe you have violated these Terms.
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.
We may modify, update, limit, or discontinue the App or any feature at any time. We may also update these Terms of Use from time to time. Updated versions will be indicated by a revised Last updated date. Continued use of the App after an update becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws applicable to the developer's place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except to the extent mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction provide otherwise.
If any provision of these Terms of Use is held invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect to the maximum extent permitted by law.
These Terms of Use, together with the Privacy Policy and any mandatory platform terms, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the App, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
